![]() Thank you in advance, i'll post pictures below to show problems. I've configured Windows Firewall to pretty much dedicate the usage of that port to LAN Messenger, and yet it still happens, and i can't be going all around the house to update the ports every time my server has a temper tantrum because it wants candy or IT WILL DIE!!!!!! How can i go in and tell the server to RESERVE that port for the program and not to touch it! I'm losing my patience, this has been going on for about a year now. The server OS follows the LAN Messenger ports and occupies them before the program can use it. I've been Port Hopping on my server like a mad monkey on a hot floor, because for SOME reason beyond me. So i'm doing the best i can with what i got. I've poked them for support and received an email from a rather surprised individual stating that the original support has withered and died as they sold the rights to the program to some other company and i looked into it and its like $99 per computer to use it now, yeah. Though old, its still a great tool! Find it HERE I am using LAN Messenger on all my machines to bring an easy of file transfers and communications. just the Windows Server 2012 R2 DATACENTER machine has this issue. While NONE of the other machines have this issue. ![]()
